Volunteer Opportunities
ASLTA, a nonprofit organization driven by volunteers, is proud to offer you the opportunity to contribute to the development of a vibrant community for ASL educators within academia. Your role in the National Professional Development Conference is not just about volunteering. It’s about shaping the future of ASL education and helping these educators reach new heights.
The Core Team, a dynamic group of individuals, is the backbone of the NPDC conference. Together, we set the course for the conference, planning and organizing every aspect. Our collaboration with the community is not limited to the conference period and remains active throughout the end, ensuring all conference-related tasks are completed.
The Coordinators Team is an essential group of the conference planning, as they are who will make things happen during the conference and make the Core Team’s vision a reality.Â
The Day of Volunteer Team is a dedicated group of individuals who work tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for all conference attendees. As a volunteer, you will attend information sessions before the event to ensure you’re well-prepared. During the conference, you will be an ASLTA and NPDC ambassador, ready to assist and guide anyone who needs help and always approachable and friendly.
