Gallaudet Dorm Room
We are excited to offer a limited opportunity to experience staying on the Gallaudet University campus in full. Our exclusive four or five-night stay hosted in one of Gallaudet’s dorms. Each room is what you’d expect of a dorm room: two single beds with typical furniture such as a desk, chair, drawers, etc.
Similar to hotels, when you reserve one of two or three suite rooms with two beds for a four or a five-night stay, you can share the room with someone of your choosing. Your roommate doesn’t have to pay the dorm stay fee as you have already paid for the whole room.
We believe staying at the historic Gallaudet University campus is the best choice for all conference registrants. You’ll be just a short walk away from the conference events, eliminating the need to travel on and off campus every morning and evening. Additionally, you’ll be in close proximity to other conference registrants and have the opportunity to enjoy the experience of staying on campus. Suppose you’re interested in staying in one of the dorm rooms. In that case, you can either select the dorm option when you register for the conference here or complete the a la carte form here to pay separately from your conference registration. Be noted that the room must be reserved under the name of a conference registrant, or it will be made available to others.
This opportunity is for July 8th or 9th to 13th, 2025. Please note that we are unable to modify the duration or dates of a stay.
We look forward to having you join us at the dorm. It will be a blast!!

Please note that this can change at any time, depending on the university’s dorm renovation plans during the summer.
Early Arrival / Late Stay
This dorm stay opportunity is for July 8th or 9th to 13th, 2025. Please note that we are unable to modify the duration or dates of a stay.
July 8th arrival is for those who are interested in participating in our Pre-Conference event on the 9th.
Pillows & Linens
Each person who reserved a dorm room will be issued a pillow and linens at check in. Included items:
- 1 pillow
- Sheets & pillowcase
- 1 blanket
- 1 towel
- 1 washcloth
Theft Concerns
The suite has a front door lock for which two or four patrons will have the key. However, the two bedrooms also have their locks with different keys. If you stay in the room alone, you will only have access to your room. If you share a room with someone else, both of you will have access to the shared room.
For additional protection, each dorm room has two armoires, each with a padlock hasp. If you feel you’ll need to secure your valuables in your armoire, you will need to bring a padlock.
Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are available in the dorm basement for your convenience. Laundry detergent is NOT provided. The washers and dryers are pay-for-use.
