The Bethel School District is seeking a dynamic American Sign Language (ASL) teacher and classroom leader to deliver high-quality, research-based instruction. Qualified applicants must hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements and a CTE V-code in Sign Language Interpretation (V510205). Candidates must meet specific proficiency standards, including a National Interpreter, Certified Deaf Interpreter, or ASLTA certification; or meet educational interpreter requirements (EIPA performance score of 4.0+ and passing the EIPA written exam, or a RID certification with a passing EIPA written exam) alongside an ASLPI level of 3+ or above. We highly value educators who can integrate technology, collaborate effectively in PLCs, implement industry certifications, and engage with families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
