About the ASLPI
The ASLPI can take 1-4+ weeks to schedule an assessment.
It can take 6-8 weeks to obtain assessment scores.

I already took the ASLPI / SLPI:ASL
Scores from the ASLPI or SLPI:ASL that are less than 5 years old fulfill the ASL proficiency requirement.
Does interpreting certification (EIPA, RID, BEI) fulfill assessment requirements?
- EIPA
- The EIPA is an assessment that evaluates interpreting skills. It does not focus on ASL proficiency.
- The ASLPI or SLPI:ASL requirement cannot be fulfilled by EIPA scores.
- RID
- RID certification is an assessment that evaluates interpreting skills. It does not focus on ASL proficiency.
- The ASLPI or SLPI:ASL requirement cannot be fulfilled by RID certification.
Does the Texas Assessment of Sign Communication-ASL (TASC-ASL), fulfill assessment requirements?
The TASC-ASL is an assessment that evaluates ASL proficiency.
The ASLPI or SLPI:ASL requirement cannot be fulfilled by an A-F score on the TASC-ASL.
