Membership renewal vs. Certification renewal

All people who have ASLTA certification must renew their certified membership each year, on September 1. People who don’t renew their membership each year will lose their ASLTA certification.

Every 4 or 8 years, people with ASLTA certification must renew their certification.

I had ASLTA certification in the past. What do I do?

If your ASLTA certification expired or lapsed, you must start the ASLTA certification process again. You may apply for Certified or Master certification if you meet the requirements.

If you failed ASLTA certification in the past and want to try again, you are a new applicant. You may apply for Certified or Master certification if you meet the eligibility requirements.
