American Sign Language Teacher

Glenbrook North High School’s World Languages Department is seeking applicants for an American Sign Language (ASL) teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is a 0.2 FTE teaching position paired with a 0.8 FTE Instructional Assistant in Special Education assignment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Certified K-12 educator in the State of Illinois.
Teacher of Students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing Endorsement preferred.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position will be established based on the Glenbrook Education Association’s teacher salary schedule and the Instructional Assistant salary schedule, which can be reviewed on District 225’s Pay Transparency website, along with District 225’s Employee Health Benefits.
