The American Sign Language Program under the Department of World Languages and Literatures are seeking to to hire a qualified person for an open ASL Adjunct Instructor position at the College of Staten Island (CSI) for Fall 2026 Semester. Continuance in subsequent semesters is based on performance.

CSI is one of the colleges of the City University of New York and has 12,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ASL Program offers 15 classes each semester to 450+ undergraduates not only from CSI but also other colleges under CUNY.

The person hired as an Adjunct Instructor will teach in-person two beginning level ASL classes (ASL 112) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the first class from 6:30 pm to 8:10 pm and the second class from 8:20 pm to 10 pm, on the CSI campus.
