To complete your registration for the conference, please provide us with a high-quality photo of yourself that we can edit to match our conference branding. This headshot will be used exclusively for conference-related purposes, such as on our conference website, social media promotions, digital program book, and so on.

To help us accomplish this, you will need to follow the list of requirements and dimensions:

1. Solid background, and you appear to stand out away from the wall.
2. Good lighting.
3. A middle shot – waist and up, with no crop on your head.
4. Unedited color photo – we will edit it into black & white.
5. High-quality photo – no blur or pixels.
6. Academic, business-casual, or smart-casual.
7. Eye leveled angle – no high or low angle.
8. Face forward.
9. If possible, provide two or three different photos.

To complete your registration for the conference, please provide us with YouTube links for the following: Presentation Topic (2 min max) and Presentation Promo (1 min max). Your videos will be used exclusively for conference-related purposes, such as on our conference website, social media promotions, digital program book, and so on.

We need all videos to be high-quality and well-made. Besides looking clean and professional, we need to ensure that they are accessible to everyone, especially our Deaf-Blind friends.

3. A middle shot – waist and up. An inch or two above the head, and no crop on top of your head.
4. Unedited – we will edit your video to add conference branding elements to your. 
5. High-quality video – no blur or pixels.
6. Academic, business-casual, or smart-casual.
7. Eye leveled angle – no high or low angle.
8. Face forward.

Please include the YouTube links in your proposal package. 

Please provide a visual description for both headshots and videos. The description does not have to be detailed, but it should be enough to give our DeafBlind friends an idea of what you look like.

Provide a visual description for each video or the same one if you look the same in both videos.

We require you to provide a transcript for each of your videos. Keep in mind that the transcript may be converted into video captions. To ensure that your transcript is accurate, please try to keep it as close as possible to what you signed in the video. The transcript doesn’t need to be a perfect translation from ASL to English, but it should contain all the ideas mentioned in the video. Whether or not captions are created, a full transcript will be provided with the video.
