The ASL EDU Virtual Symposium is our new professional development event, and we are excited to host our second online webinar series this January 18th and 19th, 2025, with the theme “Rethinking ASL Assessment.”

This symposium brings together scholars and educators to discuss various topics related to enhancing students’ learning experience in ASL classrooms through multiple assessment strategies. It promises to be a stimulating two days of talks, workshops, and discussions that foster a deeper understanding of teachers’ role in students’ language learning.

We welcome all educators, including ASL teachers, mentors, administrators, and interpreters, to attend the ASLTA’s second symposium! Your diverse perspectives and experiences are highly valued and will enrich our discussions.

All webinar sessions and social events will be conducted through Zoom Conference.
