Description
Each spring, the American Sign Language Honor Society sponsors the Eric “Malz” Malkuhn National ASL Literature Competition, which awards monetary prizes to outstanding student participants.
Named in honor of Eric “Malz” Malkuhn, one of the early pioneers of ASL storytelling, this competition encourages students to apply the ASL literature skills they develop in the classroom while sharing their creativity with the broader Deaf community.
Students at all levels of ASL instruction are encouraged to participate.
All competition entry fees are due as a one-time payment and are non-refundable under any circumstances.
