Learning Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM) known as Mexican Sign Language, with 1.5 hours, you will learn the basics of LSM’s own vocabulary and grammar. This workshop provides you to see yourself as gaining awareness of how learning a second or third language is all to gain your perspective as an ASL teacher when our students are learning ASL as a second language.
- Be able to satisfy the requirements of every day situations and routine school terms.
- Understand more fully the differences between learning a first language and learning a second language.
- Engage in using LSM online to maximize language learning.
- Explain how studying a world language enriches the cultural identity of the learners.
This workshop will be held in ASL.
